Coming Home !

There is something sweet to be found in the thoughts of coming home. Whether it be family coming home for a holiday season or, for some coming home from a stay in the hospital. The thoughts of coming home after a trip away are nice, too. Did you know that there is a homecoming planned for the faithful in Christ? An anonymous writer has penned these beautiful and inspiring words:

Think—

Of stepping on shore,

And finding it heaven;

Of taking hold of a hand,

And finding it God’s hand;

Of breathing a new air,

And finding it celestial air;

Of feeling invigorated ,

And finding it immortality;

Of passing from storm,

And tempest to an unbroken calm;

Of waking up,

And finding it Home.

Heaven is homecoming for the Christian. The names of the faithful are registered in the Lamb's book of life (Revelation 13:8). Is your name written there? What a homecoming that will be! Be sure you don’t miss it! All you need to do is trust and obey the Lord Jesus! Think about it! It would be nice to see you come home too!
